More than 20 years ago my journey on this path began unfolding.

In the first years of my practice, I injured my low back snowboarding and with patience I discovered the therapeutic power of Yoga, when I healed my lumbar spine. This blessing in disguise has kept me on my mat ever since helping me to maintain a healthy body, mind, and spiritual existence.

My most influential teachers who have inspired my life’s work include, Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois, Dr. Scott Blossom, MaryKay West and Greg Miner. Now as an Experienced 500 hour- Registered Yoga Teacher, with three thousand hours of guiding classes, workshops, private therapy sessions, retreats, and Teacher Trainings; I am more passionate than ever to continue helping others.

Philosophically, I call myself a Yoga Universalist. This means that any form or perspective of Yoga that awakens clarity, strengthens and heals the body, and energizes the spirit I support whole heartedly.

Personally, I connect most with Vinyasa Yoga, Yin Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and I am a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist. I also hold a Masterʼs degree in Counseling and use my mental and emotional health expertise in all of my teachings.

I am thankful to be a part of the Chattanooga Yoga community and I hope to inspire deeper inner wisdom so that others may have positive transformations in their lives as well.
